The objective of this Standard is to specify methods for determining characteristics for adhesives used in the installation of ceramic tiles.
The objective of this revision is to adopt the current edition of ISO 13007-2.
This Standard is identical with, and has been reproduced from, ISO 13007-2:2010, Ceramic tiles—
Grouts and adhesives, Part 2: Test methods for adhesives.
As this Standard is reproduced from an International Standard, the following applies:
(a) Its number appears on the cover and title page while the International Standard number appears
only on the cover.
(b) In the source text ‘this International Standard’ should read ‘this Australian Standard’.
(c) A full point substitutes for a comma when referring to a decimal marker.

This part of ISO 13007 describes methods for determining characteristics for adhesives used in the installation of ceramic tiles. The test methods described are the following:
a) determination of open time;
b) determination of slip;
c) determination of shear adhesion strength;
d) determination of tensile adhesion strength;
e) determination of transverse deformation;
f) determination of chemical resistance.
