Description

This Standard specifies requirements for metallic taps, plastic taps, mixing taps, sensor taps, lever taps, timed flow taps, mixing taps mechanical (non-thermostatic), and tapsets in nominal sizes ranging from DN 6 to DN 50 that are designed to be used generally for continuous operating temperatures not exceeding 80 °C and maximum dynamic operating pressure 500 kPa Originated in part as part of AS B1-1928T and MP 52-2001. AS 1718-1992, AS 3496-1999, AS/NZS 3718:1997 and part of MP 52-2001 jointly revised, amalgamated and redesignated as AS/NZS 3718:2003. Previous edition AS/NZS 3718:2005. Third edition AS 3718:2021.
