Originated as part of AS 2803-1985, AS/NZS 2803.2:1995, AS/NZS 4483.1:1997, AS/ZS 4483.2:1999 and AS/NZS 4604:1999. AS/NZS 2803.1:1994, AS/NZS 2803.2:1995, AS/NZS 4483.1:1999, AS/NZS 4483.2:1999 and AS/NZS 4604:1999 revised, amalgamated and redesignated in part as AS 5039-2003. Previous edition 2008. Revised in part and redesignated as AS 5039.1:2023. Reissued incorporating Amendment No 1 (October 2024)
