Specifies a spectrophotometric method using diantipyrylmethane as a chromogen, measured spectrophotometrically at 390 nm. The method can be used for the determination of titanium content between 0.005 percent and 1.20 percent in steel. Reconfirmed: 2016-12-16 First published as AS 1050.27-1971. Second edition 1984. Jointly revised and designated as Joint Standard AS/NZS 1050.27:1994.
