Draft Designation: DR AS/NZS 1859.4:2017The objective of this Standard is to specify the product requirements for the types of wet process fibreboards—hardboard, medium board and softboards. The aim is to reflect current marketplace expectations for wet process fibreboard performance.
The objective of this revision is to update physical properties of product.
This Standard is Part 4 of the AS/NZS 1859 series, dealing with reconstituted wood-based panel products, as follows:
