This Standard describes the reference method for determining the fineness index of cement by the air permeability method, expressed in terms of surface area in square metres per kilogram of cement determined at a temperature of 23 ±2°C. Reconfirmed: 2016-06-17 Originated as AS 2350.8-1980. Jointly revised and redesignated AS/NZS 2350.8:1999. Second edition 2006. Reissued incorporating Amendment No. 1 (September 2008).
