Scope

This guide provides practical guidance for persons conducting a business about how to manage health and safety risks associated with high pressure water jetting operations. It aims to provide users of water jetting systems with guidance on safe operating practices to protect workers and other people who are near water jetting operations. It covers the areas of managing risks with high pressure water jetting, general safety recommendations, equipment care and maintenance, personal protective equipment, planning and pre-operational procedures, operational procedures, and hazardous waste material.
