Specifies test methods for the determination of structural properties of structural laminated veneer lumber (LVL).

​This Standard specifies test methods for the energy performance of incandescent lamps, both tungsten filament and tungsten halogen, that are used in general lighting service.

This Standard describes the procedure for determining total pile mass per unit area by complete dissection of textile floor coverings. The total pile mass per unit area can be expressed at its equilibrium condition or in terms of clean conditioned mass at agreed commercial allowances.

This Standard specifies a method for the measurement of the thickness of pile above the backing of a textile floor covering and is applicable to all textile floor coverings having a pile of cut or looped yarn. Where areas of different construction or thickness exist, these should be tested separately if possible. This method is non-destructive of the floor covering specimen and is useful particularly for production control in manufacture and for measurements on installed carpets.

This Standard specifies the requirements for the quantity and size of the test specimens required in the AS/NZS 4347 suite of Standards.
