Sets out procedures for handling, fitting, installation and finishing of timber doorsets specified in AS 2689. It covers installation in cavity masonry walls, solid masonry walls and timber-framed and metal-framed walls. A symbolic designation of the direction of closing and faces of doors is included. It does not apply to the installation of timber doorsets in demountable partitions or fire-resistant doorsets.

This Standard is identical with and has been reproduced from ISO 10545-2:1995 including Technical Corrigendum 1:1997.

Provides guidance on the siting and construction of new buildings against aircraft noise intrusion and on the acoustical adequacy of existing buildings in areas near aerodromes. Specifies requirements, additional to those in AS 1418.1, for tower cranes of the ram luffing, rope luffing, saddle jib (hammerhead), articulated saddle jib, and self-erecting types. Application, loading, design, controls and indicating devices, equipment, access, marking, and inspection and testing are covered. Appendices provide guidance on information to be supplied with an inquiry or order, and by the manufacturer, illustrations of typical types of cranes, typical classifications of the crane as a whole and crane mechanisms.

Details the requirements for the design, installation, materials and commissioning of tanks for the storage of water for fire fighting and fire control purposes.

It includes sections on company organization, staffing and documentation. An appendix provides the specific requirements for custodial and escort officers.

Specifies requirements for the measurement of the Rockwell hardness of metals and for the installation, calibration and maintenance of the testing machine. It also specifies requirements for the calibration of standard hardness blocks and diamond cone and steel ball indenters. In this edition the testing and calibration requirements have been combined into the one Standard.
