This Amendment applies to the following elements of AS 3958:2023: Figures 3.3.3.1, 3.3.3.2, 3.3.4.1, 3.3.5.1, 5.4.7.3(D) and the Bibliography.

Sets out requirements for waterproofing membranes for external above-ground use, installed in accordance with AS 4654.2.

Sets out a consistent and reliable approach to the design and installation of external waterproofing membrane systems.

AS 3958:2023 provides instructions on the preparation of the background and the bonded fixing and grouting of floor and wall tiles including mosaic tiles and panels.

Sets out minimum requirements for the materials, design and installation of waterproofing for domestic wet areas in Class 1, Class 2 and Class 4 buildings as defined in the NCC. It also applies to wet areas within Class 3 to 9 buildings as if it were a Class 2 or 4 part of a building.

AS 4421:2023 specifies the minimum requirements for the operation and management of an organization providing protective security services.

AS 3745 2010 specifies the minimum requirements for the establishment, validation and implementation of an emergency plan for a facility to provide for the safety of occupants of that facility and its visitors leading up to, and during an evacuation.

AS 1674.1:2025 specifies requirements for the reduction of fire and explosion risks associated with the performance of welding and other hot work activities in hazardous environments

Provides guidance and recommended good practice for the design, application and maintenance of decorative paint systems for use by the paint industry in the development of painting specifications.

Specifies device specifications, functionality, testing and compliance requirements for electrical safety and performance for inverters designed to facilitate connectivity between energy sources and/or energy storage systems and the grid, connected at low voltage. Includes electric vehicles operating in a vehicle to grid mode and stand-alone inverters that are connected to an electrical installation that may be connected to the grid at low voltage.
