AS NZS 3000 2018 (known as the Australian/New Zealand Wiring Rules) specifies requirements for the design, construction and verification of electrical installations, including the selection and installation of electrical equipment forming part of such electrical installations; part 1 provides provisions that constitute the minimum regulatory requirements for a safe electrical installation; part 2 provides work methods and installation practices that are ‘deemed to comply’ with the requirements of Part 1.

AS/NZS 5263.0:2023 specifies general requirements and test methods for appliances and equipment which use gas as a fuel and which are intended for domestic, commercial or light industrial use, to an energy input limit of 1 000 MJ/h or any lower limit specified in the appliance-specific part of the AS/NZS 5263 series of Standards. AS/NZS 2658 specifies general requirements and test methods for portable and mobile appliances which use vaporized LP Gas as a fuel. The gas pressure at the injector orifice may be regulated or at vapour pressure.

This Standard applies to single-phase or polyphase, air-cooled (natural or forced) portable inverters having a rated supply voltage not exceeding 60 V ripple-free d.c. and an alternating current (a.c.) output where: - the rated output does not exceed 3 kVA; - the rated output voltage is within the range 50 - 500 volt a.c; - the rated frequency of the output is within the range 40 - 100 Hz.

AS/NZS 4417.2:2020 specifies the requirements for the Regulatory Compliance Mark (RCM) and its placement on electrical and electronic equipment to indicate compliance with particular regulations applicable to aspects of the equipment as detailed in this standard.It is to be read in conjunction with AS/NZS 4417.1 and with the EESS, Equipment Safety Rules, relevant Australian State and Territory Electrical Safety legislation, New Zealand Electricity (Safety) Regulations and the ACMA and RSM Regulations.The requirements for application of the mark for the ACMA labelling purposes are contained in the relevant ACMA Labelling Notices. For the information of suppliers and other interested parties, this standard also contains an overview of the ACMA arrangements.AS/NZS 4417.2:2020 will supersede AS/NZS 4417.2:2018 on 18 December 2021.
