The Builder Self Service Portal was developed to allow builders to monitor and manage their NSW Home Warranty eligibility and HBCF policies online.

Effective 1 July 2020.

The review responds to recommendations 16 and 17 of the Legislative Assembly’s Building Quality Inquiry which recommended that the ACT Government review the fidelity fund, the scheme’s prudential standards and report the findings of that review to the Assembly.

The Queensland Home Warranty Scheme is a not-for-profit statutory insurance scheme funded through premium payments and administered by the QBCC to cover homeowners for loss suffered if their contractor fails to complete contracted works or rectify defects.
