This Standard is to provide guidance for an organization on the establishment, implementation, maintenance and improvement of a robust, credible and reliable environmental management system.

This Standard provides guidance on noise and vibration control in respect to construction, demolition and maintenance sites. This Standard also provides guidance for the preparation of noise and vibration management plans, work method statements and environmental impact studies.

Specifies an infrared method for the determination of carbon in iron and steel after combustion in oxygen using high frequency induction heating. The method is applicable to all types of iron and steel with carbon content in the range 0.002 percent to 4.5 percent carbon.
