This is a compilation of the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011 that shows the text of the law as amended and in force on 1 December 2019 (the compilation date). (FEDERAL legislation.)

The main purpose of this Act is to provide for public safety in relation to prescribed equipment and equipment sites. (VIC legislation.)

Sets out basic requirements and good practice for the design, materials, manufacture, examination, testing, installation, conformity assessment, commissioning, operation, inspection, maintenance, repair, alteration and disposal of pressure equipment (boilers, pressure vessels and pressure piping) but excluding gas cylinders; includes detailed requirements for various pressure equipment by direct reference to a range of Australian, New Zealand and other Standards.

The main object of this Act is to provide for a balanced and nationally consistent framework to secure the health and safety of workers and workplaces. (NT legislation.)

AS/NZS IEC 60079.10.1:2022 adopts IEC 60079 10 1:2020, which specify requirements for the classification of areas where flammable gas or vapour hazards may arise and may then be used as a basis to support the proper design, construction, operation and maintenance of equipment for use in hazardous areas.

This Act is the Building Act 2004. (ACT legislation.)

Assists homeowners, building professionals and local governments in understanding the new part of the Queensland Development Code (QDC) for construction of buildings in flood hazard areas.

These Regulations may be cited as the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011. (FEDERAL legislation.)
