Presents the objectives and principles of adaptable housing and provides guidelines on planning and design. Adaptable housing is the basis for the development of the accommodation needs of users of all ages and abilities by making provision for future building modifications at minimum cost and disruption to the inhabitants. Includes in Appendix A a checklist for certification of housing units as Adaptable house class A, B or C.

AS ISO 15817:2023 adopts and modifies ISO 15817:2012, which specifies the essential safety requirements for remote operator control systems used on earth-moving machinery as defined in ISO 6165.
