This Standard specifies a method for the determination of thickness loss of textile floor coverings after brief, moderate static loading, and is intended to simulate the effect of the pressure exerted by a chair leg for a short period. It is applicable to all textile floor coverings of uniform thickness and construction. It does not apply to other textile floor coverings unless the areas of different thickness or construction can be separately tested.

This Standard describes two procedures for determining the loop length of the pile yarn in textile floor coverings.

Specifies requirements for the design and use of street name and community facility name signs on all types of roads except expressway type roads.

Provides architects, builders, drafting officers and others in the building industry with a common method for the representation of buildings and their components to enable the preparation and unambiguous interpretation of architectural drawings.

Adopts IEC61439-2, Ed. 2.0 (2011) to define specific requirements of power switchgear and controlgear assemblies (PSC-ASSEMBLIES).

Specifies requirements additional to those in AS 1418.1 covering builders hoists and associated equipment. Types included are materials hoists, concrete skip hoists and personnel and materials hoists as defined in AS 2549. Application, classification, loads, load combinations, design, construction, marking and testing are covered. Appendices provide information that should be supplied with tender for supply of a hoist and hazards which should be considered by the designer when designing the hoist.

Sets out minimum requirements for the materials, plant and equipment used in the supply of concrete; the production and, if applicable, the delivery of concrete in the plastic state; specifying, sampling, testing and compliance with specified properties of plastic and hardened concrete; and the uniformity of mixing.

Specifies the construction, dimensions and test requirements for single- and multicore cables insulated with polymeric materials intended for use at working voltages up to and including 0.6/1 (1.2) kV. It does not apply to polymeric insulated cables for special installations and service conditions or for which there are separate Australian/New Zealand Standards.

Specifies the requirements for the installation of domestic type water heaters using potable water. It includes aspects of the installation from, and including, the valves on the cold water inlet to any cistern or water heater and the downstream fixtures and fittings. The Standard applies to new installations as well as alterations, additions and repairs to existing installations.

Sets out methods of measuring the frictional characteristics of existing pedestrian surfaces in wet and dry conditions.
