AS 1141.35:2019 Methods for sampling and testing aggregates, Method 35: Detection of sugar contamination in concrete aggregates 2019 cover

Publisher
Standards Australia

Version:  Third Edition 2019.  (Current)
Short Description
This Standard sets out a qualitative method for the detection of sugar in aggregates intended for use in the production of concrete. A positive reaction is given by one part of sugar in one thousand parts of aggregates. No visible reaction is given by one part of sugar in 10 000 parts of aggregates.
AS 1141.25.1-2003 Methods for sampling and testing aggregates, Method 25.1: Degradation factor - Source rock 2003 cover

Publisher
Standards Australia

Version:  Third Edition 2003.  (Current)
Short Description
This Standard sets out the method for the determination of the degradation factor of rock spalls and drill cores. The test categorizes the fines produced by self-abrasion in the presence of water.
AS 1141.40:2017 Methods for sampling and testing aggregates, Method 40: Polished aggregate friction value - Vertical road-wheel machine 2017 cover

Publisher
Standards Australia

Version:  Third Edition 2017.  (Current)
Short Description
This Standard sets out the method for determining the polished aggregate friction value (PAFV) of naturally occurring or artificially produced materials which are intended to be used as, or to be a source of, pavement surfacing material.
AS 15817:2023 Earth-moving machinery - Safety requirements for remote operator control systems (ISO 15817:2012, MOD) 2023 cover

Publisher
Standards Australia

Version:  First Edition 2023.  (Current)
Short Description
AS ISO 15817:2023 adopts and modifies ISO 15817:2012, which specifies the essential safety requirements for remote operator control systems used on earth-moving machinery as defined in ISO 6165. It is not applicable to autonomous control systems that enable a machine to work without the assistance of an operator, nor does it apply to the remote control of attachments on non-remote controlled machines
AS 1141.60.1:2014 Methods for sampling and testing aggregates, Method 60.1: Potential alkali-silica reactivity - Accelerated mortar bar method 2014 cover

Publisher
Standards Australia

Version:  First Edition 2014.  (Current)
Short Description
Sets out the procedure to classify aggregate according to its susceptibility to alkali attack leading to expansive reactions in concrete.
AS 1141.41:2017 Methods for sampling and testing aggregates, Method 41: Polished aggregate friction value - Horizontal bed machine 2018 cover

Publisher
Standards Australia

Version:  Third Edition 2017.  (Current)
Short Description
This Standard sets out the method for determining the polished aggregate friction value (PAFV) of naturally occurring or artificially produced materials which are intended to be used as, or to be a source of, pavement surfacing material by polishing using the horizontal bed machine.
AS 2455.1:2019 Textile floor coverings - Installation practice, Part 1: General 2019 cover

Publisher
Standards Australia

Version:  First Edition 2019.  (Current)
Short Description
This Standard sets out requirements for installing textile floor coverings (carpets). It gives details of the work necessary in preparing subfloor surfaces, together with the procedures that are to be adopted where textile floor coverings are laid over various types of subfloors and underlays.
AS 1141.21-1997 Methods for sampling and testing aggregates, Method 21: Aggregate crushing value 1997 cover

Publisher
Standards Australia

Version:  First Edition 1997.  (Current)
Short Description
Specifies the method for determining the aggregate crushing value by tamping a measured mass of sieved material (14 mm nominal size) in a standard cylinder, crushing with a plunger and determining the mass passing a 2.36 mm sieve. Material of other nominal sizes may be used but the result may not be comparable.
AS 10567:2024 Earth-moving machinery - Hydraulic excavators - Lift capacity (ISO 10567:2007, MOD) 2023 cover

Publisher
Standards Australia

Version:  First Edition 2024.  (Current)
Short Description
AS 10567:2024 adopts and modifies ISO 10567, which provides a uniform method for calculating the lift capacity of hydraulic excavators and specifies a procedure for verifying the calculations. It is applicable to the limits of both hydraulic lift capacity and machine-tipping, and establishes the rated lift capacity for hydraulic excavators as defined in AS/ISO 7135
AS 2758.5:2020 Aggregates and rock for engineering purposes, Part 5: Specification for aggregates for asphalt 2020 cover

Publisher
Standards Australia

Version:  Third Edition 2020.  (Current)
Short Description
Nominates a series of test procedures and limits to be utilised in different geographic areas of Australia. These procedures and limits have proved suitable for specifying aggregates for use in asphalts in pavements up to and including major highways. Keywords: Aggregates; Rocks; Asphalt; Engineering; Specifications
