This version of AS 2118.1:2017 VERSION 1-1 is the version published incorporating changes from Amendment No. 1, as published on 21 December 2017. This version of the Standard is referenced in the National Construction Code 2019. The Standard was subsequently amendeded by Amendment No. 2, published on 17 July 2020. Users should refer to the National Construction Code 2019 edition before using this version of this Standard. Otherwise use AS 2118.1:2017. Standard specifies general requirements for the design, installation and commissioning of automatic fire sprinkler systems in buildings.

This edition varies from the 1990 edition only in that the paragraph numbers have been amended to reflect the clause numbers in the 1993 edition of AS 1428.1.
