Offers general support for the proposal to reintroduce a mandated Home Warranty Scheme (HWI) into the Tasmanian Residential Construction sector.

The purpose of this paper is to consult with stakeholders, including both industry and consumers, on the development of a new model for home warranty insurance (HWI) in Tasmania.

The review responds to recommendations 16 and 17 of the Legislative Assembly’s Building Quality Inquiry which recommended that the ACT Government review the fidelity fund, the scheme’s prudential standards and report the findings of that review to the Assembly.

This Standard sets out requirements, background information, guidelines and other relevant information for the design, installation, operation and maintenance of Category V lighting schemes intended to comply with AS/NZS 1158.1.1.
