This Standard adopts ISO 22846-1:2003, which gives the fundamental principles for the use of rope-access methods for work at height; intended for use by employers, employees and self-employed persons who use rope-access methods, by those commissioning rope-access work and by rope-access associations.

Sets out requirements for the design, selection, construction and installation of fixed platforms, walkways, stairways and ladders that are intended to provide safe access to places used by operating, inspection, maintenance and servicing personnel.

AS/NZS 4777.1:2024 specifies safety and installation requirements for inverter energy systems (IES) intended for the injection of electric power through an electrical installation to the grid. IES are distributed energy resources when connecting to the grid and need to ensure overall safe operation of the installation and interaction with the broader grid

AS/NZS 3019 sets out the requirements for periodic assessment of existing electrical installations which are connected to a low voltage a.c. supply system (exceeding 50 V a.c. but not exceeding 1 000 V a.c.). Inspection and/or testing is intended, as far as reasonably practicable, to determine whether the installation and all its constituent equipment is in a safe condition for continued use.
